Project Start Date:  Middle to end of March 2008

Project Length: 450 calendar days (contractor anticipates completing entire project prior to                                  the allotted timeframe)

Construction Times:  Monday – Friday  7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 Project Description:

• The removal and new construction of existing concrete roadways, driveways, and sidewalks.
• The removal and new construction of existing storm sewer piping, manholes and inlets.
• The removal and new construction of existing water lines.
• The removal of existing street lights and replacement with decorative street lights.

• Argentina – Phase 1 & 2
• Chichester – Phase 3
• Glamorgan – Phase 4
• Leeds – Phase 5
• Equador / Shanghai – Phase 6 & 7 (will not be renovated until school is out of session)
• Carlsbad / Tahoe – Phase 8 & 9

 

Notifications To Residents:

• Street Closures – 1 to 2 weeks in advance of them actually closing
• Disruption of Water Services – 48 to 72 hours in advance of occurring – normally 1 to 2 hours without water
• Detours – Routes posted with signage adjacent to affected streets

*  The official notice to proceed letter was issued to SER Construction Partners, Ltd. on February 20, 2008 authorizing the beginning of construction effective February 25, 2008.
